Turkey Noodle Toast
The perfect way to use leftover turkey. Combine it with Reames Home Style Egg Noodles and a creamy sauce, then serve it all over crusty peasant bread.

| Marzetti Ingredients |
 | 1 bag (12 oz) Reames® Homestyle Egg Noodles |
|
| Other Ingredients |
| 1 lb. turkey, leftover |
| 1/2 cup butter or margarine |
| 1 large onion, chopped |
| 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced |
| 2 tsp. garlic, minced |
| 2 cans (14 1/2 oz.) chicken stock |
| 1 cup half and half |
| 1 cup sour cream |
| 3 tbsp. cornstarch |
| 1 tsp salt |
| 1 tsp. pepper |
| 8 slices crusty peasant bread, toasted |

Preparation:
Cook Reames Home Style Egg Noodles according to package directions; set aside. In a large pot, melt butter; saute onions, garlic and mushrooms until tender. Add chicken stock, sour cream, and 1/2 cup of half-and- half. Mix remaining 1/2 cup of half-and-half with cornstarch, add to the pot and cook until thickened. Add leftover turkey, salt and pepper and cooked noodles. Bring mixture to a boil. Boil for two minutes. Toast peasant bread. To serve, place a slice of toasted bread on plate and top with noodle mixture.
